A Tick-Based Space Strategy MMO

Orbitarion is a multiplayer online strategy game where you control a single planet in a galaxy of competing commanders. Every 30 minutes, a tick fires — resources are gathered, ships are built, fleets move, and battles are resolved. Plan your moves between ticks. Strike when the moment is right.

Inspired by classics like Planetarion and Planetia, Orbitarion brings the tick-based MMO genre to the modern era — playable in your browser or on mobile, with deep strategic mechanics, four asymmetric races, and alliance warfare that rewards diplomacy as much as firepower.

Tick-Based Strategy
One tick every 30 minutes. Plan between ticks, execute when it fires. Short sessions, deep strategy.
4 Asymmetric Races
Tank, Stealth, EMP, or Raid — each race plays completely differently with unique ships and abilities.
🛡
Alliance Warfare
Form alliances across galaxies. Coordinate attacks, share intel, defend together. Diplomacy wins wars.
🌌
Seasonal Competition
Seasons run 4–8 weeks. Everyone starts equal. The best commanders, galaxies, and alliances are crowned at the end.

Four Powers. One Galaxy.

When four civilizations expanded into the same resource-rich sector, war was inevitable. Each faction brings a radically different approach to combat and conquest.

United Earth Command UEC
"Humanity does not retreat. Humanity fortifies."
Born from Earth's resource wars, UEC builds its ships as floating fortresses. The heaviest armor in the galaxy. Devastating broadsides. They fire last — but they survive everything.
+20% construction speed · +10% armor on all ships
Odonari Hive ODO
"The swarm does not conquer. It consumes."
A collective species driven by biological perfection. Their ships are grown, not built. Cloaked fighters strike from the shadows in overwhelming numbers — invisible until the killing blow.
−1 tick ETA on all fleets · +15% research speed
Sytherian Cartel STC
"Nothing in space belongs to anyone… unless you can take it."
A network of pirate fleets and criminal dynasties. STC doesn't capture orbitals — they raid enemy resource stockpiles directly. Cloaked recon ships gather intel, then the kill fleet strikes, always targeting the biggest prize.
+15% ship production · +10% scan success · Resource raiding on victory
The Aetherians ATH
"Energy is the language of the universe."
The most enigmatic civilization in known space. Aetherian EMP weapons freeze entire fleets without destroying them — the highest initiative means they always fire first. They don't destroy. They control.
+20% research speed · +10% EMP efficiency

The Story

For millennia, the outer edges of the galaxy were silent. Stars were born, collapsed, and faded into obscurity. But when civilizations began reaching orbital dominions — permanent spheres of power around planets and star systems — everything changed.

Control of orbital lanes became the key to power. Fleets now patrol the corridors between planets, trade routes, and asteroid belts. Empires rise in orbit and fall just as quickly.

When four great powers expanded into the same resource-rich sector — rich in minerals, ancient artifacts, and strategic star lanes — their territories collided. Now they compete for the same thing: orbital dominion.

The one who controls the orbits controls the planets. And the one who controls the planets controls the galaxy's future.
